A moment of vulnerability
A moment of vulnerability, so rare,
When walls dissolve and leave me bare,
In silence deep, where thoughts collide,
I stand alone, with nothing to hide.
The heart, once guarded, starts to tremble,
In truth’s embrace, all shields disassemble,
A trembling voice, a fleeting glance,
A fragile hope, a quiet dance.
In that space, I am undone,
Fumbling words, unable to run,
The strength once worn, a heavy shield,
Now crumbles fast, refusing to yield.
It’s a breath held tight, a fleeting ache,
The weight of fear that I can’t shake,
Yet in that moment, I am free,
To simply be, to simply breathe.
For vulnerability, though raw and deep,
Is the place where we start to leap,
Where trust is born and love may grow,
In opening hearts, the seeds we sow.
A moment of softness, fragile, pure,
A tender strength that can endure.
Though it leaves me bare, it’s clear,
This moment’s truth is worth the fear.
